Bernard Tirtiaux

Bernard Tirtiaux was born on April 11, 1951 in Fleurus (Martinrou) in Wallonia (Belgium) where he lives, married and father of three children (two musician boys and one female painter ). He is also occasionally singer and theater actor, notably at the Ferme de Martinrou which he runs with his wife. Bernard Tirtiaux was awarded three prizes for his novel Pitié pour le mal: the Grand Prix, the Delegates' Prize and the Prix du Roman which undermines our certainties. Bernard Tirtiaux was the winner of the last Festival d'Obourg in 1977.
